January Merch Store Updates

Hey Riftbounders!

We have a lot of merch store news to announce, so let’s talk about what’s in store for you! From Spiritforged preorders to our Lunar Revel Bundle, plus updates about Origins and Proving Grounds restocks. Buckle up, because there’s a lot to cover. 

Spiritforged

First up, we’ve heard your questions about whether Spiritforged preorders will be on the Riot Merch Store. Good news: yes and we have the details! Preorders for Spiritforged Products will go live on the Riot Merch Store on January 13 at 9 a.m. Pacific Time (PT). Three products will be available for purchase at that time: Spiritforged Booster Display Boxes and the two Preconstructed Champion Decks, Rumble and Fiora. For this round of preorders, there will be a limit of one Booster Display per Riot ID, and a limit of three of each of the Champion Decks per Riot ID.

Now, let’s talk about shipping times. We heard you loud and clear: It took way too long for Origins preorders to arrive. We’ve since implemented a number of backend improvements to our store and logistics processes, with the goal of getting preorders out the door and into your hands sooner. As a result, we expect to begin Spiritforged order fulfillment starting with Spiritforged’s English release (February 13). We can’t promise that every preorder will be in the mail that fast, but we’ll do our best to get the cards to you as soon as possible. And don’t forget, you can check with your local game store (LGS) about preordering Spiritforged from them if receiving it on February 13 is critical for you!

Lunar Revel Bundle 2026 (Chinese Language Edition)

Welcome the year of the horse with this bundle! We were thrilled by the community’s excitement at seeing the contents of the Lunar Revel Bundle 2026 earlier this week, and we are excited to share that this regional promo will be available to you via the Riot Merch Store!

Heads up: all components of the Lunar Revel Bundle 2026 are in Simplified Chinese, there is no English version!

Within this collection you’ll find:

• 1 Chinese-Language Mythmaker Irelia alt-art Champion Legend promo card 

• 1 Mythmaker Irelia playmat

• 3 Chinese-Language Spiritforged Booster Packs 

• 8 Custom Red Pockets

• 1 Pack of 70 Card Sleeves 

• 1 Metal Poro coin (one in ten will be a gold Poro coin, the rest will be silver)

Priced at $39.99, orders for the Lunar Revel Bundle 2026 will go live on February 17. Please note that they will not ship until May, as they are being shipped from China to our warehouse.

Proving Grounds Restock

As confirmed by Chengran and Dave last month, we are reprinting Proving Grounds! We know there’s been a lot of desire for this one! We’re still figuring out the exact timing, but we are in the process of getting Proving Grounds back on shelves at your LGS and also available on the Riot Merch Store in the coming months.

Players who purchase the upcoming Proving Grounds sets may find they can tell these cards are slightly different than the ones in the first printing. To add this printing to our production queue as quickly as possible, we made the decision to work with a different printing partner than we did for the first round of Proving Grounds. This change also necessitated a change in the MSRP of the product, which will now be $40 going forward.

We’ve tested this printing and have found they performed well when compared to the other English printings for tournament fairness once sleeved with our devs unable to reliably identify this version during blind testing. And rest assured, all expected contents will be in the box, ready for you to jam games with! 

We’ll share more updates once we get a timeline of when players can expect to begin seeing them in the wild, and when we’ll be restocking the Riot Merch Store.

Origins Restock 

We don’t have any more huge news, but we want to update you on our plans for restocking Origins, though we are still figuring out the timing for those restocks.

The headline here is simple: There’s more Origins coming to both your LGS and to the Riot Merch Store. We don’t have locked down timing, but as soon as we do, you’re gonna know about it.

We firmly believe that Riftbound benefits most from having cards that are easily accessible to players, and Origins being the game’s first set makes it fundamental to the game, we are going to continue bringing more Origins to players until we are satisfied with its availability as the game grows. 

Arcane Box Set Shipping Delay

Earlier this week, the Riot Merch Store notified customers of a delay in the shipment of their orders for the Riftbound: League of Legends™ Arcane Box Set. As noted in the email, it will now ship by mid-February. This is due to a delay in production, but the sets are produced now and will soon make their way to the warehouse.
