French Origins arrives May 29th, learn what the full timeline for French Riftbound looks like!

Announced during TFT’s Paris Open last year, Riftbound’s French launch is now en route with French launching on May 29th, 2026!

We are thrilled to be adding French to Riftbound. France has a storied history with both TCG and League fandoms which we’re excited to more fully embrace en français!

We will be launching French with an accelerated release cadence that brings French from into parity with the global launches upon the release of set 5, Radiance. Here’s what that means for when players can expect to see each set from Origins to Radiance in French:

French Origins arrives on May 29th as the first in-language launch. Then, coinciding with Vendetta and Radiance’s launch dates, we will be launching two Riftbound sets in French. Here’s what is coming with every French launch:

May 29th

  • Proving Grounds

July 31

October 16

  • Radiance Pre-Rift

If you’re worried this means French players will stop having access to the most recent Riftbound sets, worry not. French stores will continue to be able to order English Riftbound, even as French sets are launching, and after.

French players should mark your calendars for the week of October 16th, which will mark the arrival of French’s first in-language Pre-Rift kits for the global Radiance Pre-Rift window!

If you’re not sure where you could Pre-Rift near you, or where to find cards in France, visit the Riftbound Play Network locator website to find stores in your area. Additionally, you will begin seeing French Riftbound appear on shelves at big box stores, such as Micromania in France.
