Vegas’ Top Decks

RQ Vegas’ 1600 players yielded some new looks at the best decks in Riftbound.
Organized Play

The Expo in Las Vegas hosted 1600 players in the Regional Qualifier, and after two days, one stood atop them all. Draven again showed himself to be a powerful deck in the metagame, posting very similar conversions from Day 1 to Day 2 between Bologna and Las Vegas.

The metagame for Bologna was likely slightly overrepresentative of Legends from Origins due to the freshness of Spiritforged in the game. We saw decreases for many of Origins and Proving Grounds Legends here in Las Vegas as more gravitated towards Spiritforged Champions, with the biggest gain being Ornn players (though they struggled to make it to Day 2.)

In Las Vegas, Draven continued to prove a dominant deck bringing more than a third of the players into Day 2, however the second most effective deck will surprise you: Rek’sai saw 27% of her players reach Day 2, up from just 6% in Bologna. At the other end of the spectrum, we see four champions failing to make it to 6-2: Leona, Rumble, Lee Sin and Garen.
